My mission as a provider is to create a nonjudgmental, compassionate, and honest space where clients can explore all aspects of their lives and inner worlds. I encourage clients to go at their own pace and venture to these hard places in a supportive and safe environment.
-
My approach is warm, client-centred and emotion-focused. Each session is tailored to each individual's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based practices and incorporating holistic techniques to foster holistic well-being. The therapeutic relationship is significant to me. Building rapport and trust is crucial to a successful experience. My job is to support my client while gently challenging unhelpful thought patterns or narratives and to foster a safe environment for deeper self-reflection and consciousness-raising.

I grew up in Kelowna, BC, and have spent most of my adult life in Vancouver. In university, I fell in love with the arts and vacillated between creative writing, philosophy, English, and psychology classes. I decided to pursue psychology, the best fit to combine my interests and skills and provide a meaningful service to my community. In my spare time, I enjoy arts and culture, travelling with my husband, going for long walks around new cities, reading, writing, and spending time with our two Bengal cats, Babadook and Bellatrix.
